Grace and Truth

As many of my plans go, I had big, grandiose plans to blog every day about my reflections of the Proverbs 31 woman. Well, I've been reflecting every day and studying her out, but getting the time to blog? Well, that's another issue.

But, I'm not discouraged! God has never demanded perfection from me. (Thankfully!) Sometimes I demand perfection of myself, but that is my own foolish decisions.  I create these goals, and then am disappointed when I don't (or can't) complete them (i.e. 101 things in 1001 days, this 31 day blogging goal).

"From the fullness of his [God's] grace we have all received one blessing after naother. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." John 1:16-17
I'm going to continue my 31 Days with the Proverbs 31 woman, and try to catch up with the calendar. But I'll remember the main thing-- do be spending time studying the Bible and reflecting on it, not just to meet self-imposed deadlines.

To read all of my 31 Days with the Proverbs 31 Woman.

Keep it up! I am ALSO super glad He doesn't require perfection, just a seeking after of excellence. And He is so merciful and loving.

And what a lovely flower... Happy week to you!

I'm so glad you have this perspective. To be honest if you wrote stuff just because of 31 days challenge we wouldn't be encouraged anyway.... so be real. Keep your mind and thoughts in the Word and if you have (when you have) something to share - share it then.
