Praying together

The Chef and I just got back from a weekend long marriage retreat. We stayed in a fancy hotel, we went out to eat amazing food (Ruth's Chris Steak house... yummy!), and we heard amazing lessons and went to incredible classes about strengthening our marriage. I'll post some notes when I get caught back up with work.

But it was incredible. And once again I feel so blessed to have such an incredible husband!

Our takeaway from the weekend?

We need to develop the habit of praying together everyday.

Ecc. 4:9-10
Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:

If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!

Did you go to Weekend to Remember? We did a conference like that last year around this time. So helpful. I am glad that you had a good weekend and learned a lot.
I love your blog-so cute!

Very good goal. My husband and I have been working on praying together each night... it seems like it should be natural, but it is not!

Was the retreat something unique to your area or a national organization that you would recommend?

I love it. Good luck to the two of you. This is definitely something I would love to incorporate into my marriage as well.
